In an intimate project where art, craft, and friendship meet, IGGYWOO introduces La Petite Mort — a creation conceived and creatively directed by the artist and singer Adonxs.
The limited 10ml edition of La Petite Mort, created by IGGYWOO in close dialogue with Adonxs and his artistic team, reflects motifs intimately tied to his current single “Perfume”. While working on the track, he found himself drawn to the idea of giving form to the imaginary scent that runs through the song — and this fragrance is its tangible expression.
The long-standing friendship between Adonxs and IGGYWOO’s founder, Tomáš Ric, reaches back to a time before either of them stepped into their current creative roles. They have always shared a deep passion for art and the act of making. Their collaboration on this project was therefore a natural — and deeply heartfelt — culmination of that connection.
The track “Perfume” explores the intimate link between scent and emotion. It reflects on how a single note can draw you back to moments and people you believed were long left behind. The song captures that fleeting instant when you step into a perfumery, lift a familiar bottle, and one breath of its aroma carries you into a world of memory — where happiness and nostalgic optimism mingle with sentiment and a trace of pain.
Adonxs notes: “This song is about the moment when a scent becomes more than an aroma — it turns into a time capsule.” In the line “This will be the last last time / But I’ll linger in the mist for a while / Thinking ’bout your cedar wood smile,”he invites the listener into a fragile space between longing and acceptance, nostalgia and release — into the quiet paradox born from someone else’s scent.
With the track “Perfume” and the fragrance La Petite Mort, Adonxs and IGGYWOO blur the lines between music, art, and scent — inviting listeners to experience the song not only through sound, but also through smell and emotion.
The fragrance opens with a straightforward citrus accord of bergamot, sharpened by spicy juniper and pepper. This articulated burst of emotion gradually softens into delicate floral notes of geranium and jasmine, while orange blossom keeps a subtle bittersweet thread. The composition settles into a woody, tranquil base where a gently veiled hint of animality meets olibanum, amber, and a cool, powdery cedar.
